Welcome to the only GIRL ONLY football club in the area, and the only winner of the Kings Award for Voluntary Services, Morecambe Girls Football club. Morecambe Girls  was created as part of Morecambe FC Women to enable a clear pathway for girls to continue to play football after junior football, and to strengthen women's football in the area.

We currently boast 14 teams from under 7s-under 16s including a development, starter session, all playing in grassroots leagues. Several teams play in the local girls league, Lancaster & Morecambe Service to Youth League, others play in the Poulton & District Development League and our under 16s play in the North West Super League with all our competitive teams (12yrs +) taking part in the Lancashire FA County Cups each season.

The Women's section was established in 2005 and has seen over 200 women and girls representing the club. Although a strong relationship with, they were officially part of the Men's club in 2022 and looked to build on this in the future with the girls section.
